Expansion Joints
Choosing the Right Expansion Joint
Expansion joints are an assembly developed to safely absorb the temperature-induced expansion and contraction of construction materials. They absorb vibration, hold flanges together, and allow movement due to ground settlement and changes in the operating system.
The experts at Power Dynamics Gasket Company and our Manufacturers egineering staff are available to assist in the deisgn and review of your application. We work with you to ensure the right expansion joint design and materials are selected for your unique application.
Types of Expansion Joints
There are three major types of expansion joints: fabric/rubber, Teflon, and Metal
